QuakeCon 2006 (Page 5) - Misc. Stuff
I don't have much
to say about these. They're just some miscellaneous things I took
pictures of.
I'll just start
off with another generic shot of the BYOC. Ooh, pretty lights.
And bunnies!
I may have
mentioned this before, but there was a little booth where you could
check out some new games. This is a shot of Just Cause.
They also had F.E.A.R. Combat, F.E.A.R. (typing those periods is a
pain) Extraction Point, Tomb Raider: Legend, Lego Star Wars II (who
comes up with this stuff?), and FlatOut 2. There were some
others, but my memory isn't that great, especially after I've
procrastinated this long getting these pictures up.
Here's a shot of
the Enemy Territory tournament. The two guys behind the intel
logo were doing podcasts of the matches.
Cup Stacking and Quake Logos
<>I
know the quake logos are pretty standard practice for QuakeCon, but cup
stacking might be a new tradition.

I'm not sure
how it started, but I turned around and it seemed 3 tables had begun
some sort of cup stacking extravaganza.

I must say I was
impressed how many cups they were able to stack...
... before the inevitable happened.
Gamers these
days. Even in public, you can't stop them from playing with their
Bawls.
... or showing
off their cans.
